Set up Airpipe Mail in other apps (IMAP / POP / SMTP)
Use the settings below to read and send your Airpipe mail in apps such as Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, the Gmail app or on your phone. Use your full email address as the username, along with your usual password.
Incoming — IMAP (recommended)
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Server | mx.airpipe.ai |
| Port | 993 |
| Encryption | SSL/TLS |
| Username | your full email address |
| Password | your email password |
Incoming — POP3 (alternative)
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Server | mx.airpipe.ai |
| Port | 995 |
| Encryption | SSL/TLS |
| Username | your full email address |
| Password | your email password |
Outgoing — SMTP
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Server | mx.airpipe.ai |
| Port | 587 (STARTTLS) or 465 (SSL/TLS) |
| Authentication | Yes — same username and password |
Tip: Choose IMAP over POP3 if you read your mail on several devices — IMAP keeps everything in sync (read messages, folders) across your computer, phone and webmail. POP3 normally downloads messages to a single device.
Step by step
- Open your email app and choose Add account → Other / IMAP.
- Enter your address and password.
- Incoming server (IMAP):
mx.airpipe.ai, port993, SSL/TLS. - Outgoing server (SMTP):
mx.airpipe.ai, port587(STARTTLS), with authentication. - Username = your full address, password = your email password. Save.
Webmail is available at mail.airpipe.ai.
